Type 82 Kübelwagen was the best known variant of the KdF car in World War II. The simple, but sturdy car was for the German army what Jeep was for the Americans. Although it was equipped with only two-wheel drive it proved itself also in the hard terrain. It drove through the mud and snow of the eastern front as well as through the sand of the African desert.
